Video shows Huntington Beach, Calif. officer involved in suspect shooting

An officer-involved shooting took place at a Huntington Beach, California convenience store and was captured on video and posted to social media on Friday.

The video posted on Twitter at approximately 9:30 am PT by @Cali_Funk1 shows an altercation outside a store between a police officer and a white male. It appears six shots were fired.

The Huntington Beach Police Department confirmed that an officer was involved in a shooting outside a 7-Eleven store following "an altercation," according to local media.

The suspect was then taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

One video shows the officer and suspect grappling on the ground where the suspect apparently grabs an object from the officer's uniform. In the next video, the officer backs away from the suspect before firing a number of shots.

The male suspect stumbles repeatedly, clutching his torso before collapsing on the ground in front of the store.
