EUGENE, Ore. -- Both Oregon teams had a big day in NCAA men's golf.

The Bandon Dunes Championship wrapped up Tuesday afternoon, with Oregon and Oregon State using the “home field advantage” to finish at the top of the leader board.

The Ducks held a huge lead throughout the entire three-day tournament, finishing 28 under par.

Three Ducks finished round three of the tourney with individual scores ranked in the top five.

"A couple of the players were strong players, and it certainly helps to just have a two-hour drive instead of a flight,” said Oregon Head Coach Casey Martin. “You know, we've played here before, so you have a little advantage being on your home turf, but certainly it's unique golf and different golf, and the guys handled the conditions really well. We’re grateful for the victory."

Oregon State climbed their way up the leader board during the tournament, finishing at six under.

The Beavers’ coach says there's a stat change and OSU finished the tournament tied for second.

"They just did a really good job at embracing the challenge,” said Oregon State Head Coach Jon Reehoorn. “The golf course is totally different. I brought the team down here in January to kind of prepare, so they kind of knew what to expect having been here before. But I’m really just proud of the effort they had this week; it was great."
