In a tweet Monday, one of the University of Oregon’s star basketball players said that it’s his intention to declare for the 2017 NBA draft.

Tyler Dorsey was instrumental in the Ducks success and getting the team to this year’s Final Four. But the team failed to advance to the national championship game after losing to North Carolina.

Still, the guard called his time with the Ducks “one of the best experiences of my life, and I’m truley (sic) blessed to have those memories,” he wrote in the tweet.

“After this great college experience, I believe this is the time to pursue my dream of a NBA career. …”

The sophomore averaged 14.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in two seasons with the Ducks.

Dorsey also declared for the draft last season and went through the evaluation process but never hired an agent.
